Book Sale Dates

The Fall 2025 Book Sale will be on the following dates in the CWU Brooks Library main lobby:

  • Thursday, November 6 from 9 AM - 6 PM

  • Friday, November 7 from 9 AM - 6 PM

  • Saturday, November 8 from 11 AM - 4 PM

Everyone is welcome to look over the wide variety of books for all ages. No textbooks are sold at this event.

Book Donations

We welcome donations for our Fall and Spring book sales throughout the year! Before donating, please help us by going through your books to make sure they are clean, undamaged (e.g. no torn or missing pages), and not excessively marked up; that they have complete front and back covers; and that they are free of dust, mold, smoke or vermin damage.

What we accept and sell:

  • Books on all subjects (but no textbooks, please)

  • Both paperbacks and hardbacks (including large-print)

  • We especially appreciate children’s and young adult books!

What we do not accept:

  • Textbooks

  • Magazines

  • Audio cassette or VHS tapes

  • Records, LPs, CDs, and DVDs

How to donate:

If you would like to donate books to us, please e-mail Carol Findley at findley.carol@gmail.com with a brief description and an estimate of how many books you would like to donate. Once approved, Carol will let the library staff know when you will be taking your donation to the library front desk.
